The Mirage banquet center in Clinton Township on Wednesday night resembled an upscale lingerie store during the second annual BRAvo event hosted by Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center to benefit the centers Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center.

The event, which coincides with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, featured a live auction of celebrity-signed bras. But the attire that received the highest bid was an autographed Steve Yzerman Detroit Red Wings jersey, which went for $5,000. A Kid Rock-signed bra took in $2,500 and one signed by country star Taylor Swift received $1,000. Overall, the event took $11,525 from the live auction alone, said hospital spokeswoman Diane Kish.
