Cage fighter Alex Reid has proposed to his reality star girlfriend on an Irish talk show despite still being married to glamour model Katie Price.

Surrounded by the studio audience, 36-year-old Reid popped the question to Celebrity Big Brother contestant Chantelle Houghton, this morning, the Daily Mail reports.

While discussing their future and possible baby names with host Brendan O'Connor, he told Reid he should ask Houghton to marry her right then and there.

Reid initially refused saying it would be "romantic" because someone else had told him to do it.

But after grabbing Houghton's boob and proclaiming: "I'm a breast man", he decided to propose.

"We're in Dublin. I haven't got a ring but you know what? I'm going to do it," he said.

"Seriously nobody tell anyone! Will you marry me?"

A giggling Houghton replied "yeah" before the two shared a passionate kiss.

The couple have only been dating for seven months and both have failed marriages behind them.

Reid is still technically married to Katie Price, also known as Jordan, as their divorce papers are still before the courts. They were together for less than a year.
