This week Dame Helen Mirren, 66, moaned that "that bloody" red bikini picture would "haunt" her for ever. And she is not the only celeb unhappy at being captured on candid camera.

You'd be forgiven for thinking most celebs only go on holiday to be snapped frolicking on a beach in their designer bikinis - but not X Factor winner Leona.

The Bleeding Love singer had a major costume drama when her 2007 Barbados break ended up all over the news.

Leona, 26, said: "Being pictured in my bikini was a nightmare. I'm a normal-sized girl and it's embarrassing."

Ex-EastEnders star, 36, was happily hanging out on her hols in 2009, until this snap also caught her bulging over her bikini. "I looked worse than I've ever done," said Hannah, who lost weight and did a fitness DVD.

Puffy-eyed and half asleep, this is the Teenage Dream singer, 26, looking like a middle-aged nightmare.

She was snapped by hubby Russell Brand first thing in the morning, who posted it on Twitter.

Katy said: "I wasn't too impressed.

I'm currently plotting my payback."

To be fair, this is James in character as Smithy on Gavin & Stacey, so you can't hold him responsible for that unforgiving stripy top...

Even so, this snap taken on the set of a Christmas special, is not a particularly flattering one.

As James, 33, puts it: "I HATE this picture. I look like a complete idiot."
